Description

At Lockwood, our vision is to bring people together through Avakin Life so they can play, share and socialise! Listed as one of Europe’s fastest growing tech companies by the FT for 2020 as well as winning numerous TIGA and other awards several years in a row, our journey’s only just begun. With great benefits including an employee share scheme and profit related quarterly bonus, we’re a great destination for those who want to work on cutting edge social experiences in an environment that fosters communication and creativity. We’re always looking for good people – if you are interested in helping us shape Avakin Life’s future, this is a great opportunity.

Avakin Life’s 200 million registered users need an experienced Localisation Executive who can transform our words into content that connects in any region. The Localisation Executive will play a key role across several teams - including our LiveOps and Marketing departments - and will be responsible for ensuring the best quality translation of our social mobile app and related websites. In partnership with our translation agency, you will ensure daily localisation requests are processed and delivered accurately and on time, while improving the overall localisation process as a whole.

Using your language skills and cultural expertise, you will educate the business and facilitate the creation of messaging that resonates with a global audience. In addition, you will head up culture research projects alongside our country managers, assuring our content is ahead of the curve. You will need excellent attention to detail and be extremely self-motivated, with a results-driven and proactive attitude.
