We are looking for a great DPO to help develop, implement, and monitor the data protection aspects of compliance monitoring, strategy and policy. Supporting our Head of Legal overseeing the evaluation, measurement, monitoring, and management of data protection risks. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 3 DAY A WEEK PART TIME ROLE.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and perform ongoing Staff training in relation to Data Protection
  • Develop, review and ensure implementation of data protection
    policy
  • Development, keep up to date and implement Cookie policies
  • Develop Data processing agreements and SCC
  • Develop and keep up to date Data protection impact assessment
  • Keep up to date data inventory

Requirements

    • Some relevant industry experience
    • Proven experience building, implementing, and managing data protection programs at an organization subject to multiple PDP regulations
    • Expert in national and European data protection law, including an in-depth knowledge of the GDPR
    • CIPP/E certification a plus
    • Adept at balancing business needs with regulatory and reputational risk
    • Ability to explain the privacy program to customers on an as-needed basis
