We're looking for someone to join a feature-focused team which works both in the backend and the client. If you're primarily a C# developer, and you also have experience with backend (Linux, C/C++, lua, distributed databases) and possibly also with Unity, then we would definitely like you to get in touch with us!
Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team, taking ownership of a C# client library which is part of a highly scalable communications system to provide messaging and processing services, becoming the primary point of contact for issues and work relating to it;
- Working on the backend of that system, on a bleeding-edge database and application server framework, and alongside Unity client developers;
- Understanding requirements and implementing changes and new features appropriately;
- Creating integration tests, using version control competently and maintaining whatever minimal documentation is required for coworkers and the broader company to understand how our services work.
Requirements
- Minimum three years experience developing in C#, in an engineering capacity;
- A scientific mindset and a passion for designing and developing sound, optimal, logical code;
- A working knowledge of C/C++ and, ideally, debugging;
- Two years experience working on backend systems for video games, gambling, mobile applications, or working on any other large-scale backend APIs;
- Ability to work with Linux, troubleshoot operational issues on services under load and identify optimisation opportunities;
