Lockwood is looking for a Director of Cyber Security to head up the security team. This team has wide ranging responsibilities, including GRC, vulnerability management, Application and infrastructure Security, risk reporting, monitoring and alerting, anti-cheat, and threat intelligence. The role would suit someone with strong hands-on technical experience who’s able to think strategically and support a team of subject matter experts. Application and Game security experience is greatly valued, as is previous cyber leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of Cyber Security at Lockwood, from our products to our infrastructure
  • Bridge the gap between business needs and technical security controls, continuously communicating the need for effective and appropriate controls both vertically and horizontally
  • Ensure appropriate KPIs are set for, and met by, the security team
  • Take a pragmatic view and ensure that investment is well directed and yields the best possible ROI.
  • Line management and support/growth of a small team of security experts
  • Strong ability to deliver through others and support/mentor both within and outside the security team.
  • Ownership of Lockwood’s security infrastructure

Requirements

    • Strong technical background
    • Strong technical and non-technical communication
    • Ability to translate strategy and requirements between business and technical stakeholders
    • Solid understanding of business infrastructure, including SSO, device authentication, WiFi authentication, PKI, networking fundamentals including VPNs
    • Familiarity with Vulnerability Management approaches and tools
    • Familiarity with data analysis/fraud detection
    • Basic familiarity with risk management and reporting methodologies
