Our data team are looking for an awesome Product Analyst who combines aspects of both product management and data analytics to support game and/or live-ops teams in executing on hypothesis driven development. They are nominally embedded within these teams and so must excel in communicating with developers, designers, economists, product owners and other staff from various disciplines across the business.

Your activities will include but may not be limited to; assisting with live-ops designs and balancing, analysing product and microtransaction package performance, multivariate (“AB”) testing, economy balancing, user experience optimisation, purchase funnel optimisation, and player engagement analysis.

The ideal candidate may have an educational background and/or extensive practical experience that supports the understanding of one or many of the following: game design, economics, user psychology, and/or statistics.


  • Work with the data analytics team to provide views on aspects of product performance important to game teams via dashboarding tools;
  • With the leads, help to improve and set new standards for measures of product performance;
  • Build a deep understanding of how your product functions, the systems within it, and how to optimise them;
  • Work directly with monetisation managers to balance the game economy and optimise sales;
  • Write code where necessary to facilitate dashboard based and bespoke reporting.


    • Experience with data dashboarding tools and communicating complex ideas concisely and effectively to others;
    • Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Hadoop, Vertica, and AWS based or other cloud warehousing and processing solutions;
    • Ability to write complex yet efficient ETL or queries in SQL variants, Python, R or other relevant tools;
    • Experience working with and within an Agile development framework;
    • Familiarity and experience with the mobile games market and common game systems;
    • An understanding of the mobile UA market, how to track user engagement over their lifetime, and how to support other teams in evaluating ROAS.
